Fire Department

The City of Howardwick has a Volunteer Fire Department who's aim is to protect its community. They stand ready and are on call to assist with any man-made or natural disasters as well as fighting fires. We welcome anyone who has a heart for service. Come join our team. Application is below.

As a Volunteer Department, we operate on donations. If you would like to donate, please click on the pay button on the home screen and under invoice type in CHVFD!

§12.02.002 Unauthorized burning prohibited. 

It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized person to burn trash within the corporate limits of the city. (Ordinance 40, sec. 1, adopted 9/12/77; Ordinance 84, sec. 1, adopted –/–/–; 2004 Code, sec. 11.10)
