ORDINANCE UPDATE
1/8/2026
Effective January 1, 2026, the City of Howardwick has adopted the Texas Transportation Code 551.401 which prohibits anyone that is not a licensed driver to operate any vehicle on the streets, paved or dirt, in the City of Howardwick. This includes, ATV's, Golf Carts, Motorcycles, Mini Bikes and ROV's.
The owner of any vehicle found in violation will be held responsible. Up to a $500.00 fine for each violation.

This is to inusre the safety of our residents after several incidents and many complaints.
