Emergency Alert System Drill

The City of Howardwick will be conducting an Emergency Alert System Test on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This test will run between 10am and 12:30pm and will via Text, email or social media. This test is in coordination with the Texas Department of Emergency Management. During the test, our message will state clearly that " this is only a test" and there is no emergency. This drill is to test and ensure local alerting systems are working properly, and to improve emergency preparedness for our residents.
